A landscaping study to map the needs and treatment in a potentially new therapeutic area for our client, as well as to assess the potential for a new product in diverse markets, including Russia, Jordan, and Lebanon.
Our Approach
Considering this was a new therapeutic area for the client, it was essential to provide a solid understanding of the therapy area landscape in each market. Conducting in-depth telephone interviews in all markets enabled us to ensure a representative geographical spread, and our strong network of research partner agencies ensured both quality and efficiency of fieldwork.
In addition to interviewing Obstetricians/Gynaecologists, a small number of pharmacists (involved in the formulary decision making process and with responsibility for purchasing) were also interviewed.
Results
Our report provided a very clear assessment of the commercial opportunity for our client’s product as well as an understanding of the nuances and issues in each market. The results thus enabled our client to make a decision regarding the value of marketing their product in each of the markets.
