A land­scap­ing study to map the needs and treat­ment in a poten­tially new ther­a­peu­tic area for our client, as well as to assess the poten­tial for a new prod­uct in diverse mar­kets, includ­ing Rus­sia, Jor­dan, and Lebanon.

Our ApproachMap

Con­sid­er­ing this was a new ther­a­peu­tic area for the client, it was essen­tial to pro­vide a solid under­stand­ing of the ther­apy area land­scape in each mar­ket. Con­duct­ing in-depth tele­phone inter­views in all mar­kets enabled us to ensure a rep­re­sen­ta­tive geo­graph­i­cal spread, and our strong net­work of research part­ner agen­cies ensured both qual­ity and effi­ciency of fieldwork.

In addi­tion to inter­view­ing Obstetricians/Gynaecologists, a small num­ber of phar­ma­cists (involved in the for­mu­lary deci­sion mak­ing process and with respon­si­bil­ity for pur­chas­ing) were also interviewed.

Results

Our report pro­vided a very clear assess­ment of the com­mer­cial oppor­tu­nity for our client’s prod­uct as well as an under­stand­ing of the nuances and issues in each mar­ket. The results thus enabled our client to make a deci­sion regard­ing the value of mar­ket­ing their prod­uct in each of the markets.
